Time and Patience

Feeling inspired by these amazing photos by epic fashion photographer, Tim Walker and illustration by Josip Kelava. It’s funny how sometimes when you feel like fighting a battle, the best thing to do is let go and let the universe do its thing.

I love design and photography, or art of any kind, that appeals or evokes the fundamental emotions that shape the human experience. These images are reminding me about patience, and to remember the present moment rather than waiting and begging for some future unknown. Lately I’m trying to let go of controlling every detail of every project, and every detail of my life– and where both are going to lead. It’s so much easier to let go, and let life happen as it will– wildly and unpredictably. You just gotta let go, man.

Side note: is my affinity toward all winged creatures obvious? I never felt especially drawn to birds until we got a pair of adorable budgies. I even have a Bird Board on Pinterest. Yikes. Scary, I know… but honestly, I think they’re kinda magical! And gutsy with all their gravity-defying rebelliousness. Here’s to spreading your wings and boldly allowing the unknown to happen to you.
